Birthing a Book, Having a Baby: Learn the Truth Behind the Metaphor!

At the beautiful and lively Napa Oxbow Public Market with host Bookmine Inc. 

Three debut San Francisco area authors and mothers read from their work and discuss the commonalities, and stark differences, between birthing a book and having a baby. Their diverse writing (memoir, women’s fiction, and literary fiction) and childbirth journeys will address the challenges, possibilities, and humor in both childbirth and book publication. The panel will be moderated by a member of WriteOnMamas, a nonprofit community of women (and men!) that fosters a friendly and supportive atmosphere for writers of all genres and experience levels.
